Tomorrow I depart via train for Vienna. I am excited to see and race in this city. I am not excited about lugging all of my luggage and bike case through an eight hour train ride w/three stops.
On Sunday my European adventure comes to an end. I fly out of Vienna back to the good old US of A. But I will only have a couple days at home before I pack up and fly out to Portland for Nationals the following weekend.
Then who knows?
This trip has been an amazing experience.
One of the benefits of bailing on the Poland race this weekend was I got to attend Eurobike. I have never been to Interbike so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but it shows how much money is in the cycling industry. Some highlights from the show.
Jan Frodeno’s bike on display at Felt.
20 feet away Frodeno’s Felt on display at Sram. Wait a second…
No bike from Emma but it’s good to see a display.
Specialized was an example of utilizing a huge amount of space and packing a whole lot of product in. This company is seriously big time now.
